Learn to play

The objectives of the program are to:

• Strengthen coordination of player's ability to skate and stick handle at the same time
• Passing, shooting, and scoring
• Continue skating skills including strong stride and speed forwards, backwards skating, hockey stops, and advanced edgework
• Give every child a chance to play hockey and experience a feeling of success
• Learn how to be a good teammate
• Keep children excited and motivated to continue hockey
